It is recommended that you initially use the GUI to get a feeling for the processing sequence and then create your first config.
Why wont qProtect run?
There can be many reasons. The most common reason is that qProtect is started with an incompatible version of Java. You should first check if you're starting qProtect with a x64 version of Java 8. Does qProtect support Java 8 through Java 18?
From our testing it should work fine, if you still encounter any issues, we suggest you to contact staff. Please note that qProtect needs to be launched with Java 8. We provide the needed JDKs, but any 1.8 JDK may be used.
Will qProtect run in Windows, macOS or Linux?
Yes, qProtect will work fine on any x64 based Windows, macOS and Linux installations.
Do I receive free updates?
Yes, You will receive free lifetime updates, including Major version updates.
